Warm Wishes for the Holidays and an Exciting Year Ahead!

Dear Newmarket parents, guardians, teachers, students, and community members,

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful holiday break and a very Happy New Year.

Looking ahead, 2026 promises to be a great year in Newmarket. In addition to all the reasons we already have to appreciate our town, 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of our country. To celebrate this historic semi-quincentennial, the Town is planning a community-wide celebration, and there is much to look forward to.

Newmarket is a wonderful community that puts the needs of our kids first in everything we do. The community is always so supportive of our schools. Whether it is a winter concert, a sporting event, a craft fair, or the NES Spaghetti Dinner, our community shows up in force to support the schools and our kids.

Every year at this time, I remark on how quickly the year has passed. As someone who has worked in the public education profession for 41 years, it seems like the years go by faster and faster. As we approach the end of 2025, on the brink of 2026, I feel very hopeful about the future of the Newmarket Schools. We have great kids, committed teachers, highly involved parents, and engaged community leaders. These are all the key ingredients to a great school system.

Thank you to everyone who helps make Newmarket the great community it is.

Best wishes to you and your families for a happy, healthy holiday season and New Year!
