More Covid-19 Cases in Newmarket Schools

Dear parents, guardians, and members of the Newmarket community,

Good afternoon,

Today, we were informed of five more confirmed cases of COVID-19: four at the Elementary school and one at the Junior/Senior High School. All close contacts have been notified and there is no need to pivot any class or grade to remote. On-campus learning will continue at both schools at this time.

Just a reminder, please self-screen at home using this checklist.

If you or your child are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, such as a fever, chills, respiratory illness, aches or change in taste and smell, please stay home and away from others and get a COVID-19 PCR or rapid test from your healthcare provider.
