Happy Holidays!

Dear parents, guardians, and members of the Newmarket community,

Congratulations, you have survived one of the most challenging years in modern times.  Supermule and I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Happy Holiday and thank you for reinforcing the COVID 19 safety protocols that enable us to provide a safe on-campus learning experience for students and staff.

Remember that we will move to remote learning for two weeks following the holiday vacation break.  We hope that by doing this we will be able to avoid unplanned shifts to remote instruction, flatten the transmission curve, and help maintain the health of students, staff and Newmarket residents.  It is our hope that rates of transmission will slow, and we will be able to resume in-person instruction from January 19th to February 18th.

To help support your child (ren) during our COVID era remote learning periods, you may find some or all of the following free, webinars taking place in January to be helpful. Topics include:

  1. Understanding Fear, Anxiety, and Upset: The Neurobiology of Stress
  2. YOU are Enough! The Key Role of the Parental Relationship in Developing a Resilient Child
  3. Helping Your Child’s Growth: It’s all about Safety and Regulation
  4. Your Family Can Survive Anything: How the Use of Story and Holding Hope Help Us Overcome
