PSAT/SAT/SAS Testing Information

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the beauty of fall in New Hampshire! As we look ahead to next week, we want to remind families that there will be no school for all staff and students on Monday, October 12.

In addition, students in grades 6,7,8, and 9 will participate in asynchronous, remote learning on Wednesday. October 14th, so that Sophomores and Juniors may take the PSAT and Seniors may participate in the New Hampshire SAT School Day.  10th, 11th, and 12th grade students should plan to follow the normal arrival schedule, however, dismissal from the high school will take place at 1:00pm or immediately following lunch for Sophomores and Juniors.  Seniors should plan for afternoon transportation following the completion of the SAT, which should end no later than 1:30 PM.  Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors will be provided lunch at school prior to dismissal, and normal lunch ordering procedures should be followed. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your school Test Coordinator, Christine Bisson at bissonc@newmarket.k12.nh.us  or Assistant Principal Jennifer DeStefano at destefanoj@newmarket.k12.nh.us.

In the upcoming week, parents and guardians of students in grades 4-9 will be receiving information related to the upcoming New Hampshire State Assessment System (SAS) Interim assessment, which will be administered in late October.

We hope you enjoy the last days of sunshine before we enter daylight savings!  Thank you for your continued commitment and support.

Sincerely,
Susan K. Givens, Ed.D
