Newmarket High School’s FIRST Robotics team is looking for volunteers of all skill levels. FIRST Robotics combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology.
The team is made up junior and senior high students who are interested in the design, build and programming of robots with the intent of playing a field game against other teams. Doing all of this requires lots of planning and work from the students as well as the guidance of adults. The team is looking for adults who are willing to share their real-world experience. You do not need to have a special degree, just a desire to help our students learn and be part of the fun. The timeline for completion is short. We have two weeks left of our build season before competitions begin in March.
