Art Teacher at Newmarket Elementary School
What is your favorite part of your job and of teaching/working in Newmarket?
I love being able to create with my students every day & listen to the stories they have about their artwork. My favorite part of teaching in Newmarket is that the students, staff & community are incredible!
Where did you grow up? Where did you go to college?
I grew up in New Castle, NH. I went to the University of New Hampshire.
How long have you worked in Newmarket? Where did you work before that?
I've worked in Newmarket since 2019. Prior to 2019, I taught Art in Barnstead and North Hampton.
Please tell us about your family. Pets?
I have a husband and son, 2.5 years old. We also have some chickens, two dogs, and a rabbit!
What activities/interests do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work you can find me gardening, fishing, spending time at our camp, on our boat or ice fishing. Summer is definitely my favorite time of year because there are so many opportunities to be outside!

Book: Changes all the time but right now it is Rainbow Fish.
Movie: I don't watch enough movies to have a favorite!

Mexican food is my favorite.
