Welcome back to what I know will be an eventful senior year!
I hope that each of you has had a great summer filled with fun and relaxation and will soon be ready to return. Miss Bisson and I look forward to working with the members of the class of 2023 to ensure a successful senior year as the students begin to plan the next phase of their lives.
· As part of the planning please note that the Financial Aid Information Night for Seniors (Junior families are welcome to attend) is on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 6:30p-7:30p, NHS Cafeteria. This evening presentation helps families navigate through the financial aid process. Emphasis is placed on how to apply for aid and the types of aid available. Funding options, scholarship searches and the importance of deadlines are also discussed.
· The last day to make semester 1 schedule changes is Friday, September 9th.
· If you are missing a graduation requirement from your schedule, Mrs. Callinan will be in touch prior to September 9th so that your schedule can be adjusted.
· Please check your email often in senior year as we will send out a lot of information to you.
· Please log into Naviance often in senior year. We have college admissions reps who will be in the Counseling office to meet with students. The rep visits are located under “What’s New” on the homepage in Naviance. You can sign-up to meet with college reps through Naviance.
· Members of the military will have tables outside of the cafeteria once a month. Stop by if you are interested in talking about the different military options.
· Miss Bisson will return from Maternity Leave around September 16th. She will be in Senior English classes to discuss the College Process and other post-high school planning options by the end of September.
· We have a new assistant in the Counseling office. Please stop by to say hello to Miss Tritto!
