Important Updates- Please Read

Hello Parents,

We are all very excited to have completed 3 straight weeks of in-person learning. It is our hope that this will continue without interruption for the remainder of the year. It is important that we all do our part to make this happen by following our Covid protocols and procedures, masking, and maintaining social distancing. It has been wonderful having us all in the building together and we don't want anything to interfere with that. I am writing today to provide you with information regarding several upcoming important events. Please note that there are several important links and attachments included.

Program of Studies and Course Selection Process

We have recently finalized our 2021-2022 Program of Studies and are ready to begin the course selection process. Administrators and counselors will be visiting classrooms to review the procedure with students currently in grades 8-11 beginning the week of April 12th. There will be a VIRTUAL informational meeting for parents and guardians on Monday, April 12th at 6:00 PM. This will be a virtual meeting. I strongly encourage you all to attend so that you can support your student in selecting their program for next year. A link for this meeting will be sent out before the end of next week.

AP Testing (AP Students please read)

We are making preparations for AP exams to be administered to students currently enrolled in AP courses beginning in May. Due to the fluid nature of the pandemic we are asking students to prepare for the possibility of the need to do remote testing. We are currently scheduled for paper and pencil testing during the testing window included below.

AP testing window Admin 1:  May 3–7, 10–12, 14, 17 (In School Paper & Pencil).

Students should log into their College Board account to view their test dates and times.

AP exams tips and resources

AP Digital Testing App (the College Board will release 4/8/21). It is highly recommended that all students download this and complete at least one practice exam to become familiar with the testing platform in the event that the school needs to shift to remote.  If this happens, the AP Coordinator will make the change in the College Board and alert students/families.

More information and details on the scheduling of specific exams will be forthcoming from the Counseling Office.

Finally, below find the link to our 1st and 2nd Quarter Honor Roll list. Congratulations to all of the students who earned this recognition. We are so proud of your achievement and the hard work and resilience it required during this challenging year.

End of Grading Term

Our 3rd quarter will end on April 16th. Please encourage your student to remain focused as the grading period comes to a close. Parents can check grades and student progress through Infinite Campus.
