We hope all our families have a safe, healthy, and happy break. The weather looks to be outstanding, so take time to enjoy all that New Hampshire has to offer. We again, thank you for all your support throughout this challenging school year, it is truly appreciated.
New Schedule Update:
We would like to remind our families that starting on May 3rd, Newmarket Elementary School will be returning to a 5 Day a week school schedule for the remainder of the school year. With this change, we have adjusted our daily schedule to include an additional 30 minutes of instruction for all students at the end of the day. Below you will find information regarding our new morning drop off and afternoon pick up times. Please be advised students will not be allowed to enter the building before 8:30am, as this time has been set aside for our teachers to prepare for the instructional day.
7:45 – 8 :30 AM Teacher Planning
8:30 - 9:05 AM Arrival Schedule:
8:30 – 8:40 - Walkers & bikers
8:30 – 8:40 – Parent drop off A-M
8:40 – 8:50 – Parent drop off N-Z
8:50 – 9:00 – Bus drop off
Students continue to enter through their assigned entrances and proceed directly to their classroom.
9:05 AM - 2:30 PM Instructional Day – All Students
2:30 – 3:10 PM Dismissal Schedule:
2:30 – 2:45 - Walkers & bikers dismissed
2:30 – 2:45 - Parent pick up A-M
2:40 – 2:55 - Parent pick up N-Z
2:55 – 3:10 - Buses are loaded

Bus Routes and Times:
Please take a moment to carefully review our new bus routes and times. Your child’s bus and pick up/drop off times may have changed to accommodate our new instructional week. This information is also available on our website.
If you have a child who will be 5 years old on, or before September 30th, 2021, we encourage you to register them for Kindergarten as soon as possible. You will find information regarding how to register your child on our website by clicking on the Registration Button.
We are busily planning for the state required spring assessment. The NH state assessments in (Reading, Mathematics and Writing) will be given to all children in grade 3-5 this coming May. Children in the remote setting will need to take these assessments in the building on the days their grade level peers are schedule to take them. Students in the fifth grade will also be given a science assessment as well. We will be sending more details on this the first week in May.
