Smarter Balanced Assessment Results

posted Nov 9, 2015, 4:53 AM by Jason Carey   [ updated Nov 9, 2015, 11:16 AM ]
Last spring, students in grades 3-8 and grade 11 participated in the Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBAC) for mathematics and language arts.  This assessment replaced the New England Common Assessment (NECAPS) which was previously given as our state-wide accountability assessment.  Scores from the Smarter Balanced Assessment were released to parents by mail on November 9, 2015.  The mailing included a letter from the New Hampshire Commissioner of Education, Dr. Virginia Barry, an individual student report and a key to reading and understanding the report. On November 19, 2015, Patricia Ballantyne and Amy Rocci will present the school district's results to the November School Board at their meeting.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Patricia Ballantyne @ 292-7987. A copy of the commissioner's letter is attached.
