On Thursday, October 24th, the Newmarket School Board approved two motions in response to the communication from Oyster River on the tuition agreement framework, dated October 7, 2013. The motions both passed by 4-0 votes and read as follows:
  • To direct our District team to continue to meet with Oyster River representatives to negotiate the final terms of the Tuition Agreement.
  • To instruct the Superintendent to communicate to Oyster River that, if offered a mutually agreed upon tuition agreement proposal, we will place it before the voters at our March 2014 school district meeting.
